What is a Special Writ?

A special writ was an issued statement to be conducted by a person by authority of a governing body.  Writs of execution were used by ninja to approve tasks performed by ninja including espionage and assassination.  Since I am a web ninja, there will be no blood letting, however, you as my client have the ability to ask for specially designed scripts that perform a certain task.

An example of a custom built script would be a posting script that you would use with a form that would extract the information from a form and send the recipient this information, the sender a confirmation email, and store the data in a csv for use in a database by the end user.  I have designed scripts like this for several clients to go along with forms I have created.

Currently I am in the process of creating a file management script in PHP 5.0 for an international company that will give them the ability to use a Graphical User Interface to upload, download and transfer files from their dedicated server.  In addition it will use a user / password protection script that will allow the end user to create users (in this case clients) who will then have a secured location to access files specifically for them and not see or access files designated for other users.  Finally the script will also be able to create a URL link that clients can use to download the files without giving them their own username or password, should the end user not desire to set up that functionality for their client.
