I have seen alot of controversy over using tables and divs to design web pages.  Alot of people are stating that divs are the way to go and that tables should be left out unless absolutely neccessary.   I can’t see why tables are a bad thing though.  I wouldn’t design a website purely with a table, but tables do come in handy for putting up a row of items and anytime you need to make sure you have three or more perfectly lined up columns.

I am sending this out to the “blogosphere” and would like to hear back from fellow designers to see what they think.  As well as get a few suggestions.
